We are already deep into 2025, and what a journey it has been! With your support, EDEN & CO has grown stronger than ever. From the launch of our Stellenbosch store to exciting international expansion, we are proving that South African craftsmanship has a place on the global stage. The second half of this year is shaping up to be just as exciting. We’re preparing to launch a brand-new collection towards the end of 2025 – one that is bold, meaningful, and original. Just as the INSPIRE Collection became a symbol of faith and resilience, we believe this new collection will capture hearts in a very special way. Why Being Copied Reminds Us Who We Are

You may have noticed that EDEN & CO is often imitated. Our INSPIRE Collection seems to be copied the most – and the irony always makes us smile. We set out to inspire our customers, but it turns out we’ve been inspiring our competitors too. And while that may be flattering, it highlights something important: our model is unique and we are leading the field in terms of product development and innovation.

Many jewellery brands fall into one of two extremes:
1. Some only sell plated jewellery imported from factories in the China or India. With little originality, they wait for brands like ours to create something new, then rush to their manufacturers to replicate it.

'n boodskap van kari

Met die eerste lentebloeisels wat oopmaak kan ek nie help om te dink hoe elke nuwe seisoen vir ons iets besonders bring nie. Lente is vir my ’n herinnering dat daar altyd nuwe dinge wag – vol kleur en hoop.

‘n Vers wat vir my na aan die hart lê die tyd van die jaar is Jesaja 35:1-2 “Die woestyn, die dor land, sal jubel, die droë wêreld sal juig, oortrek met affodille.”

My wens vir jou in hierdie nuwe seisoen is dat dit vir jou vars energie en inspirasie bring. Mag jou dae ligter voel en mag jy die dinge wat nie meer vir jou plek het nie, met gemak kan laat gaan – soos die seisoene dit self ook doen.
Mag ons Inspire-reeks jou daagliks herinner aan die krag van geloof en die hoop wat elke nuwe seisoen bring. Elke ontwerp is geskep om nie net mooi te wees nie, maar ook om ’n sagte fluistering van inspirasie en moed te dra – iets besonders wat jy altyd saam met jou kan neem.

'n boodskap van nikke

Met groot dankbaarheid in my hart skryf ek vandag hierdie nota om dankie te sê. As ek terug dink aan ons nederige begin 12 jaar terug, toe ek en Conrad beide besig was met studies in Stellenbosch, is dit bykans onmoontlik om te dink hoe die besigheid die laatste paar jaar gegroei het.

Vandag is EDEN & CO ‘n volwaardige besigheid met ‘n stewige span voltydse goudsmede, ‘n bemarkingsspan en twee bekwame mense in ons Stellenbosch winkel. Namens elke een van hul is ons so dankbaar vir die geleentheid om elke dag te kan doen wat ons graag WIL doen, om te vorm en skep met ons hande.

Dankie vir jou, wat deel is van die EDEN & CO familie, wat deel is van ons storie en wat ons help om ook ‘n baie spesiale boodskap van hoop en geloof deur ons INSPIRE-reeks uit te dra.

Ons vind soveel vreugde daarin om te weet dat elke item wat ons werkswinkel verlaat, gemaak is uit egte goud of silwer en dus vir nie net een generasie nie, maar vir ‘n paar generasies lank as erfstukke, vreugde kan bring.

Looking back at where we started

When EDEN & CO started, it was just a dream. It began about 12 years ago, when Nikke handcrafted a leather bag as a birthday gift for Conrad while they were both still students. That simple gesture sparked the beginning of something bigger.
What followed were years of building from scratch – cutting, stitching, and packaging everything by hand on the floor of a small apartment. No team, no storefront – just passion, persistence, and a vision to create something beautiful and lasting.
What many don’t know is that Nikke had a student job as a goldsmith while studying, and even then, she knew she wanted to pursue jewellery one day – even when leather bags were the main focus.
Fast forward about 12 years, and EDEN & CO has evolved. We’ve moved from leather to timeless jewellery – we now have 10 full-time jewellers, creating solid sterling silver and gold pieces that celebrate everyday luxury. And this year, we reached a milestone we’ve had in mind since day one: opening our first store in the heart of Stellenbosch.
It’s a full-circle moment. From a birthday gift to a curated store. From leather to silver and gold. From a makeshift workspace to a growing, loyal community. You have been part of this journey, and we are so grateful for the support.

925 Sterling Silver

We only use 925 Sterling Silver for each of our silver jewellery pieces. This means that the metal is made up from 92.5% silver, making it a hypoallergenic and non-irritable jewellery piece. It also means that it is the purest form of wearable silver, and it is not just another plated earring. We strive in using the purest forms of elements, bringing an earthy and undiluted piece to the table. Our lightweight sterling silver pieces are perfect for everyday wear, you’ll look fabulous without feeling worn down.

Non-tarnish Silver

We exclusively purchase non-tarnish silver to contribute to the timeless character of our jewellery. The silver will look brand new for a long period of time before starting to show marks. Non-tarnished jewellery presents an unmatched luxurious look, ageing slowly and beautifully.

Freshwater Pearls

Pearls are timeless, elegant and give the impression of pure class. Freshwater pearls are always unique in form and shape which gives our jewellery an edge of individuality. Pearls also offer a neutral colour to easily match any style, effortlessly complementing your outfit. We handpick our pearls for each set, giving it an edge of personal commitment to each of our customers.

We keep a variety of shapes like coin pearls, round pieces and even the bold baroque pearl – offering a stylish piece to fit your taste.

Handmade

Each of our jewellery pieces are handcrafted by one of our four goldsmiths. Each of our artisans have their own speciality and signature adding a truly unique character to each piece. Having in-house goldsmiths also enables us to customise your jewellery to fit your style and personal choice.
